Best smoked with ribs or pulled pork, but can be done without a smoker. .

Ingredients

  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 1 lb bacon
  • 1/2 C ketchup
  • 1/2 C barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 C brown sugar
  • 4 Tbsp mustard
  • 4 Tbsp molasses
  • 6 cans beans (2 chili, 2 pinto, 1 black, 1 red)
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1-2 green peppers (chopped)(optional)

Instructions

  1. Pre-cook bacon, set to side
  2. Cook hamburger
  3. Add onion, green pepper, spices
  4. Cook until tender
  5. Add everything else
  6. Bake 1 hour or more. The longer the better. OR smoke for 3 hours (taste best this way).
