Ingredients §
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 to 4 cups flour, about 15-20 ounces
Directions §
- Start with a cup of flour, add more as needed.
- Mix ingredients in stand mixer, knead until smooth and soft.
- Rest dough 5 minutes. Spread on oiled surface and roll out to the size of a baking sheet.
- Preheat oven to 400. Put 3 T butter (measure with your heart) in a baking sheet and place in oven during preheat until melted, then tip baking sheet to cover the bottom evenly.
- Place dough in baking sheet, spread to edges, cut a line every 1-2 inches breadthwise.
- Top with garlic salt and cheese.
- Let rise 20 minutes. Bake for 15 minutes.
